Anyone here attending this show?

I should, RU ;)

I'm certainly going to try, but I have 2 other trips planned (Calgary and Vietnam), so not sure if I can swing it. It's been years since I was last in attendance and I've always enjoyed myself. Besides..I've got a hankering for some "steamies" and some "smoked meat". :). I should know within a week or two.

I did on Friday..less exhibitors than last year....I am not sure the show will be there next year...my feeling. Filtronique was showing a 300K set-up : Sonus Faber Aida with the full DCS Vivaldi stack and Kronos turntable with Audio research and Moon +Siltech .

could not tell if it was sounding good because people in the room were talking very loud...the lack of respect for the music and listeners made my so angry I stood up and got out.

You made a calculus mistake, at less according to Journal de Montreal : a 500 K setup. :) For those who can read french (those who can't can can use the google online translator) see:

For a less pessimist view on our hobby, but also critical on public lack of respect, see the Soundstage site:
