Seismion - new active isolation platform from Germany

Hello Thomas, I am looking for a device that control a volume control for long time. Do you might share where I can buy one ?
Hello greenfish
I made it by myself. I bought only the electronic and the motor.
Greetings Thomas, I purchased an IR remote pot form eBay, but it doesn't have enough power to rotate my pre-amp volume knob. Interested in knowing what parts you used to build your volume controller. Thank you!

We have made another video that shows the performance of active isolation versus passive isolation:

At the beginning, the automatic precision levelling is performed, after the isolator has been loaded with some weights. Afterwards, the top-plate is excited by hitting with a finger. The measurement gauge proves that the isolator is quickly oscillating in its natural frequency. The vibrations are weakly damped and continue for several periods until settled. In contrast, with the active control forces turned on, the isolator rather creeps back to its equilibrium position without any overshoot.
Quite impressive is also the fact that the Reactio 2 can handle such strong excitation. In the video the oscillations of the top-plate are clearly visible when the active forces are turned off. Still, the isolator does not turn into idle state (like some other competitor products), but continues to perform.

I'm equally surprised by your finding. As I've added Seismion tables under my electronics I've heard increased dynamic articulation, both macro and particularly micro, which brings the music more to life and unravels more of the harmonic fabric of the music. I thought I was gilding the lily to put some underneath the signal chassis of my CH Precision M10's, and I was rather surprised by an important increase in life and clean articulation of all musical threads from that move, too. Quite the opposite impact from what you describe.
Which size and model of Seismion are you using under your CH M10? 50mm x 40mm seems too small.

Are you using two? One for the M10 control 53kg, and another for the M10 power supply 78kg?

I use one Seismion under the signal chassis and one Daiza platform under the power supply. I'm using the smaller 400mm x 500mm platforms of the first generation referred to only as "Reactio". The chassis are certainly wider than the platform's top plate, but the titanium spikes are positioned easily within the platforms, with ~25mm to spare to the edge.

Nice , yes I think the reacto 541 handles up to 80kg and the 542 up to 160kg.

Thank you. Good to know. I currently have a CMS Olympus Ultra platform for each unit of the M10, but plan to try the seismion.

Their new reacto 2 , bigger size 600mm to 500mm can handle up to 150kg! It’s insane. Mine is on order (going to use it under turntable )

I have the 541. My rack was already fairly well damped and isolated. (Rock maple shelves on oversized lignum vitae legs, resting on Carbide Audio bases) . I found an across the board improvement with the 541 beneath my turntable. Most notably the sound stage size and secondly overall bass definition, clarity and balls. Now, I have Eggleston Works speakers and among their many strengths is the ability to more accurately reproduce the subtleties and nuances associated with drums. Drums are my favourite instrument, not learning to play them is the regret of my life. I’ll often search out recordings that feature exceptional drum production, old Genesis, later Slayer with Dave Lombardo, or Danny Carey. Somehow the Siesmion was able to pull the already vivid drum sound out of the recordings and offer up further improvement. I was actually laughing. Big improvements , like that saying goes, can be almost indistinguishable from magic.

Full disclaimer: I run Massif Audio Design and was fortunate enough to be pals with the North American distributor and was given permission to offer Siesmion platforms as a complimentary add-on to my custom racks.
