Hello Thomas, I am looking for a device that control a volume control for long time. Do you might share where I can buy one ?
Greetings Thomas, I purchased an IR remote pot form eBay, but it doesn't have enough power to rotate my pre-amp volume knob. Interested in knowing what parts you used to build your volume controller. Thank you!Hello greenfish
I made it by myself. I bought only the electronic and the motor.
Which size and model of Seismion are you using under your CH M10? 50mm x 40mm seems too small.I'm equally surprised by your finding. As I've added Seismion tables under my electronics I've heard increased dynamic articulation, both macro and particularly micro, which brings the music more to life and unravels more of the harmonic fabric of the music. I thought I was gilding the lily to put some underneath the signal chassis of my CH Precision M10's, and I was rather surprised by an important increase in life and clean articulation of all musical threads from that move, too. Quite the opposite impact from what you describe.
I use one Seismion under the signal chassis and one Daiza platform under the power supply. I'm using the smaller 400mm x 500mm platforms of the first generation referred to only as "Reactio". The chassis are certainly wider than the platform's top plate, but the titanium spikes are positioned easily within the platforms, with ~25mm to spare to the edge.Which size and model of Seismion are you using under your CH M10? 50mm x 40mm seems too small.
Are you using two? One for the M10 control 53kg, and another for the M10 power supply 78kg?
Nice , yes I think the reacto 541 handles up to 80kg and the 542 up to 160kg.I use one Seismion under the signal chassis and one Daiza platform under the power supply. Thank you. Good to know. I currently have a CMS Olympus Ultra platform for each unit of the M10, but plan to try the seismion.I use one Seismion under the signal chassis and one Daiza platform under the power supply. Their new reacto 2 , bigger size 600mm to 500mm can handle up to 150kg! It’s insane. Mine is on order (going to use it under turntable )Thank you. Good to know. I currently have a CMS Olympus Ultra platform for each unit of the M10, but plan to try the seismion.
Looking damn good and sounding even better! very pleased you are enjoying it.View attachment 145806update on my Seismion journey, I’m excited to share that I got four new reacto 2 platforms , one of which is the 500x600mm size which can support an amazing load of up to 150kg!
I worked with Jon Badov at Sonic Artistry and he actually drove down to New York and helped me set up my platforms into my Artesania Racks. Jon is phenomenal and it was a pleasure to work with him! I love my Artesania racks but they can be a bit painful to adjust in height and level , Jon was patient, precise and we figured out a functional lay out for my gear. I’ll share some pics , as you can see my space is crowded and I still have a lot of work to do . I now have 8 seismion platforms in total. The bigger reacto 2 is under my vpi avenger , I use DS audio and tru glider tone arm ; I have to say the TT and particularly the tru glider benefit immensely from the seismion platform ; sound is crisper , more spacious , the grand master ex is a very stiff one piece cantilever/stylus cartridge and the combo of tru glider and seismion platform help it glide ever so truly.
We then placed ds audio grand master eq on the reacto 2 as well. Then pre amp and msb stack ; the aurender n20 is on a standard sesimion. As are my powerzone and reel to reel . The block audio amps now can rest on the seismion plus as weight allowance is up to 80kg for those ! All in all I’m super excited and happy. I would say the lowering of noise floor and expansion of soundstage is what I notice the most when activating the platforms , the outline and texture of sound becomes sharper and crisper as well.
For Analog lovers , I would say for sure check out the tru glider tone arm (I would recommend connecting with Dr Vinyl, he will elevate your analog rig with his expertise) then for sure consider a seismion ! View attachment 145803View attachment 145804

We ran out of time to do the DS ION on and off. That and a couple of other things.....next trip.Jon is great, very nice setup. Glad you were able to get his expertise.
Now try vinyl playback with the DS ION off vs on. You may find you prefer it with it off.
Yes Jon recommended I try that , and I will . I also have the tru sweep that helps collect some dust , not sure what sonic effect of each is , I will try to do some careful a and b comparisonsJon is great, very nice setup. Glad you were able to get his expertise.

Another good example of Seismion usage, there are numerous examples. Once you tried active isolation, you keep adding more.View attachment 145806update on my Seismion journey, I’m excited to share that I got four new reacto 2 platforms , one of which is the 500x600mm size which can support an amazing load of up to 150kg!

Yes , you are my hero! Did you ever consider their Atlas for your speakers ? I want to end up there but I am looking to change speakers so holding off.Another good example of Seismion usage, there are numerous examples. Once you tried active isolation, you keep adding more.
I have 15 active platforms in my system and is still considering more.
In Munich show last May, Seismion demonstrated speaker active isolation using 8 Atlas. The result was very good. The only problem is the thickness of Atlas. It rises the speaker too much. The price of 8 Altas is also considerable.Yes , you are my hero! Did you ever consider their Atlas for your speakers ? I want to end up there but I am looking to change speakers so holding off.
