Damn the anxiety!! Today is the D day! Anxiously waiting for the audio guy to come with all the toys, especially the WVL Berlin! I couldn’t sleep last night due to the pain from my back surgery recovery and also browsing and contemplating about upgrade to Kondo Kagura and G1000….LOL!!! But @gian60 said that he dont like Kagura alot and much prefer Ongaku…Why?.

The blank canvass, no treatment or finishing yet due to family health issue this year

What replaced my Kondo for a couple of weeks. My 10 years old daughter told me yesterday “Daddy, I realized now that your big speakers sounded so good after listening to this small speaker for a week”

Temporary seating arrangement until I recover, can’t stand sitting in a soft sofa even for a second. My dog love to sleep there.

Ibuprofen won’t do it, I am on Tramadol mix, was on Fentanyl for 3 days, wasn’t pleasant at all that terrible drug. Thanks, enjoying this so much, much better than doing nothing at all

Mission Impossible…

Very, very nice speakers!!! Congratulations!! In your room they look quite compact.

But what kind of hifi system is that? Is anything broken? I don't see a turntable!!!

Congratulations! Enjoy that beautiful system!

Not so quick, I have Kuzma XL DC upstairs and I am tempted to steal that from the system to try to pair with HSE Reference Phono.

Everything I expect and more (less too)….after some initial struggle to find an OK baseline we finally found it. As always involvement of Siltech DC/TC were always the one that brought most change for the better. I can get away without second amp to biamp because my Ongaku can do an average of 90db max 100-107 with relative ease, I usually listen at average 80db anyway but tomorrow we will still try biamp effort. Sound is a lot more nicer then it was when I auditioned it. One huge drawback is the bass, the bass was totally non existent compared to what I listened during audition, there was definitely no chest thumping happening this afternoon. Will play around with speaker positioning tomorrow To find the missing bass, I think speakers are too close to front wall and I gotta move the rack and all gears except power to the side too. I over exerted myself though, gotta go to sleep now and continue tomorrow. Ciao…

Happy for you… a very nice way to distract from your recovery. Enjoy — I’m sure the sound is glorious.

Congrats and hope they provide some pain relief! Is that a Torus as well? Which unit?

Thanks a lot! FYI putting the Pilium Elektra on action was one of the greatest moment of this afternoon. It was an ear opener…Too bad I got a slightly defective unit and dealer said waiting for replacement as they have AK chip shortage due to the fire

That’s Torus AVR-20 I stole from upstairs. I bought Shunyata Everest for downstairs and regretted it, no comparison, not even close And the worst part is my dealer have Torus AVR Elite on stock. Now I have almost new Shunyata Everest US plugs with 220-240V for sale.

I'm very eager to hear the BERLIN here in the States and have high expectations for this loudspeaker. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
