This is a perfect example of how members coments are growing toxic. Others have fallen into this same rut. Not to bash on Elliot, but I was aghast at his retorts to OCD Mike. Telling him I don't like you and get off this forum. Its like everyone is turning into a MEP.

I don't expect you, Franscisco, to agree with my views, nor do I expect you to offer something alternative. Think of my use of 'Naturalist' as a proper name, or use whatever word you like; for me the meaning stays the same, the taxonomy stays the same. Why bother Tim with @spiritofmusic, @microstrip, etc., when no argument is stupid enough to put forward and their understanding of the subject is as basic as water is wet and rock is hard. Their only interest either out of ignorance, malice or both is to mandate ”Natural Sound” and what terms people should use.

OCD Mike's video's were bashing other dealers and manufacturers and brands.....as his narrative to his subscribers. this is not end user stuff. this is dealer verses dealer stuff spilling over onto WBF. with feedback from Elliot and Rhapsody Bob OCD Mike has settled down some. i'm not agreeing with Elliot's approach, but it's business nastiness. OCD Mike set the bar for that stuff.

i see dealer to dealer commerce related conflict an altogether separate thing than end user dogma wrangling.....social media boys being boys. they just happen to be going on at the same time.

For those of you who enjoyed PQ's take on the industry, this one is also worth watching back from 2014.

If you’re interviewing this guy, why not just be quiet, don’t interrupt, and let him talk for two hours! He doesn’t need you. We Don’t need you. And why are you cutting him off 15 minutes into the talk? he had a lot more to say that I would like to have heard.

I am loosing expectations of reading something from you that does not carry insinuations or condescendence comments. I offered an alternative since long and my previous post shows it - many people have addressed it in WBF, disagreeing or agreeing, even your self in the past.

IMHO naturalist is someone who follows a particular preference, not a proper name.

Well, David, I always avoided direct conflict with members, preferring to discuss ideas and concepts to insults. I will go on in this line, apologies for not entering a personnel mud fight with you.

again Rex you have made a statement that is not factual and again you only see a part of the story. Show me where I said that OCDF guy should get off this forum? Perhaps you might want to go back over the time line and watch his incendiary videos insulting my products and challenging me. I had never met this person, never spoken to this person ever, I am a huge supporter of the freedom of speech and expression however free speech is not free from consequences or reaction. I have stated before and I will repeat myself to you again
I will if attacked, challenged, my friends and my business alliances are attacked unfairly , I will respond and defend them. If you were my friend and someone jumped on you wrongfully I would do that for you as well. Those videos were just someone trying to make a name for themselves at the expense of others. Period. If OCD wanted to listen he could have easily come into my room and talked to me like anyone else but he didn't.

OCD was bashing other people. I am not at all saying he was not. What I am saying is this forum has maybe 15 people that dominate the content. Its no different than any other forum. I see not reason for the principal posters to fall to the levels of some of the incidental individuals that post.
