Hi Mike,every piece of gear in my signal path uses the footers shown below (with the copper plate removed) between the gear chassis and the Daiza with the open end with the foam insert facing down. it does take a couple of days for the foam to adjust and be optimal. Emile can explain the process more.

i'm trying to recall whether i personally did a comparison of the small round foam filled panzerholtz footers to the special feet that come with the Extreme, or whether i just asked Emile which way i should go. i think Emile said the latter, and don't think i listened/compared myself.Hi Mike,
Just curious;
Are the special feet on the Extreme with the incorporated Panzerholz not sufficient to properly couple it to the Daiza platform?

@Rhapsody;
Hi Bob,
Do you couple your Extreme to the Daiza with separate Panzerholz feet as well?
No need to make it sound any better at this point.
Hi Mike, I am just referring to the CMS CS 1.5s and the dual Diazo platforms. They have all been there now for two years and honestly I don't see changing those out. Better to focus on other areas for sonic improvements.
until you hear better and your reference gets blown up. then your perspective is altered and your mind opens. until then we need peace of mind. and a hole in the sand for our head.
i'm always amused when i read that Steve is all done, till he's not.
i get it about the resonance, and you may be 100% right about that part. even though i've not personally used the Center Stage, i have tons of respect for it. i'm sure it's different from active. i'm not currently using a active directly with my digital source signal path.Hi Mike, I am just referring to the CMS CS 1.5s and the dual Diazo platforms. Of course if there is an entire new vibration control technology emerges, although I have no interest in active etc, then who knows.
I'm waiting for Emile/company to pull the next trick out of the hat So far it seems they are on the path with the biggest pay offs in audio signal noise reduction, which I believe is the key to unleashing "the music".i get it about the resonance, and you may be 100% right about that part. even though i've not personally used the Center Stage, i have tons of respect for it. i'm sure it's different from active. i'm not currently using a active directly with my digital source signal path.
i was just expanding on your comment.
Hi Bob. Do you mean that you have two DAIZA platforms, one on top of the other and on the last one the Center Stage 1.5?Hi heebrog,
I use CMS Center Stage 1.5's under the Extreme, then two each Diazo platforms (double decker). I have not experimented after setting this set up together. No need to make it sound any better at this point.
Keep laughing MIke . You’re the proverbial poster boy IMO. Until youve heard 1.5’s under your Extreme IMO it’s your loss

btw; i feel exactly the same about my digital, that it's entirely good enough. my USB card should arrive tomorrow. then it will be better, and good enough.
we are definitely in 'good enough' territory.
you did notice i very specifically posted have the highest respect for Center Stage footers even though i have not had them in my system yet? and i mean that.Keep laughing MIke . You’re the proverbial poster boy IMO. Until youve heard 1.5’s under your Extreme IMO it’s your loss
do you even read what i write before you post? or just assume i'm giving you a bad time?all roads lead to Rome Mike.
There are many paths to audio nirvana.
To each our own
Bueno, Bob, definitivamente me ganaste por una diferencia de Daiza.
