Thank you so much! I have no idea when the amp will return, but I'm actually not in a hurry, and instead of fretting I may just list a few of my favorite but rarely used cartridges in the classified section. My wife has decided, in her own brutal way, that I can only get new stuff if I get rid of old stuff. So unfair...I don't remember that kind of torture being explicitly outlined in the vows.
the good news is that after initially making fun of the system, she has come to appreciate how much we use it and enjoy it! and she's right: i have too much stuff (and not enough!).
