First time reading this thread, and I have to say the introductory posts from 13 years ago are very educational. Never thought of Supertramp as prog, though I do see why the Moody Blues would be included. I kinda grew up in that era, when the cool kids at school were swapping Yes, Genesis and Rick Wakeman (and the very cool were into King Crimson, Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart). Having been primed by Wakeman, I always thought of Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds as a continuation of that kind of themed concept album, but I could just as easily make a case for classifying it as grand opera.

I follow Prog and try my best to keep up on what it being released but of course it’s impossible to hear everything! I follow a few sources for new releases and try to listen to at least one each day (although sometimes life gets in the way). If you hear something good post it here!
