Tripoint troy signature grounding device

DRC, as a VertexAQ proponent, can you pass any comments on the Pico grounding boxes? There seems to be some commonality btwn Pico w/Troy, Entreq, in what is trying to be achieved.
I've gone down the Entreq path as you know, so Pico across the system is not for me, but I am intrigued by the passive spkr grounding boxes.

Hi Spirit, I received my Vertex AQ components recently and this weekend, I was finally able to incorporate them into my system after more than 2 months wait. They include the following items:

• Vertex AQ Taga HiRez Distribution Block
• Vertex AQ Pico Grounding Blocks - for all components x4
• Vertex AQ Pico Binding Post Grounding Blocks - for speakers x2
• Vertex AQ Leading Edge Platforms (with decoupling cones and coupling tripod)

Immediately, I noticed that my system was cleaner, higher in resolution with greater overall clarity, inner detail as well as increased high end extension. I also did a face off between the Leading Edge Platforms against the Stillpoint Ultra 5s which I am currently using. Overall, I preferred the Leading Edge Platforms in some areas notably in high end extension, resolution, precision and clarity. The Stillpoints Ultra 5s I felt provided a slightly tauter and more robust bass. I ended up settling on using the Leading Edge Platforms on some components and the Stillpoint Ultra 5s on others.

The Pico grounding blocks seem to work well in conjunction with my Tripoint Troy Sig system raising the resolution and extension and clarity of my whole system. I highly recommend you guys check out these Vertex AQ grounding products that are designed to eliminate vibrations, RFI as well as EMI.

Next stop...Grounding cables but I will keep my sanity in check!!!

DRC, do you have any specific experiences w/the VertexAQ Pico speaker grounding blocks which sit on top of the spkrs, not connected to anything? This is pretty much the only product from them I'm interested in, since my grounding needs are covered by Entreq, power by Westwick, racks by Symposium, and cables by Sablon.

I had my troy signature SE for a couple of weeks now. Will write more about it, but for now all I can say is that all that has been written here is not only true but accurate. The thing is incredible. Understand the basics of what is doing form a tech point of view. Don't care much about that. The musicality of the system now, the emotion within music is beyond description. Will elaborate more, but all I can say is that, when you get beyond a level in the system, to get an upgrade with no downside is something you don't get that easy. Tends to be a trade off; you improve in some area and lose in others. With the Troy, is all about improvements. The net effect is quite remarkable.

Best
Eli

Good to hear that you are enjoying yourself with the Troy signature se and agree with the comments made on this forum. The troy is indeed a fantastic device. If you are able, please try to use it with at least one Thor se grounding cable connected to your preamp. This cable is much better than the standard cables supplied with the Troy and will bring out the best of your Troy signature se. I am now using three and hope to receive three additional Thor se's in about two weeks. these cables in combination with the Troy signature se (and off course the emperor) are incredible. But for now please enjoy your Troy signature se and to those who are still sceptical: listen to it and you will be amazed.

Eli, Are you using Thor SE grounding cables? Guess what, if so, you haven't heard anything yet.

Hi TBG, No I haven't. I am planning to do so in the not too distant future though. Will order one and see. I am very sure it will make a large difference. Not for any particular reason but just because all I've read so far has proven to be accurate.... So looking forward to it.

Thanks audiocrack. Will do try the Thor for sure and share my hearings. It is indeed a fantastic device.

The truth is that the system is sounding fantastic. A sense of realism unheard before. You can hear lots more, but in a way that far from analytical, gives a real world presentation filled with emotions. Not easy to describe. Highly recommended.

Revealed by Miguel? An unlikely development this ! Any what's in them canisters ?

Innard revealed by Miguel

I can confirm that this photo is genuine.
I talked with Miguel at the Audioextics HiFi Show in Hong Kong on 11 July 2015.
He showed me the same photo stored in his smartphone.

:)

This is like a nest of Russian Dolls. Nothing to really learn here, nothing really revealed. I don't care, I'm convinced grounding works. But nothing here is going to change the minds of the skeptics.

What's inside Entreq ? A brass or copper plate covered by some kind of sand!!!!

Probably! Who cares? As Lucaz of Lampizator says of his products, he would use parrot guana, as long as it works...
You misunderstand my post. I'm not making a comparison to Entreq, I'm referring back to people like Purite who say open the boxes up and let's see what's inside.
Well, Miguel has opened his box to reveal...more boxes (cylinders, to be accurate)
This is like getting a date w/a girl you're dying to see w/her clothes off, she does a tantalising strip to reveal...a basque she ain't NEVER taking off!
Talk about a tease.

Spirit , to be fair , I have heard Tripoints & I think it's awesome . As for entreq , it effective up to a price point . Are they worth it ? That's another topic

It is similar to Shunyata Triton and Typhoon. Both have cans of minerals and they do work.

I believe that's an older Troy. Miguel should post some updated pics.

I agree aydc. It does resemble the Shunyata devices externally, but I don't think Miguel uses quartz, etc.

Spirit, I agree as well. Who cares. Grounding works....
