Thank you for taking the time. I do prefer the 2012 remastering to the original 1998 box set from years ago, and so I will continue to read up on those who have compared the 2012 with the 2022. So far the majority of individual feedback is positive, with only 2 individuals that I could see who have been particularly negative about dynamic limiting.
Went thru some further reading, and then did some spot comparisons of the 2012 and 2022 masterings. Am giving a shot to the set of Universal Japan 2022 Remasterings.
