Zero Distortion: Tango Time

I remember Mike suggesting suspending my tt off the structural steels in my room. If Tang complies, at least one of us took his advice.

You could have a suspended acrylic shelf from blocks like theese
each extra revolution halves the weight

This is a very good idea for a lot of hifi and for the WE 16a which is hung from the ceiling

Maybe Tang could install a couple of poles, a bar, get some exotic dancers over...Hell, given that I'd listen to Class D on his Cessaros.

You lose all bass suspending equipment this way, not mention having live wires handing down for the ceiling and practical side of biasing and changing tubes?

You could suspend them to a length where you could change the tubes. Or once every few months, climb on the woofer to change. Whether lose bass or not is the same argument whether to use isolation or some form of vibration control. It has to be tried and decided on a case by case basis

He can. It is the intent and motive that decides if guilty or not

If Tang's wife does not allow him pole dancing girls, he can try firefighters

i think this is total BS
the blocks would make the amps available for whatever you needed to do whenever you needed to do

Yes, if you have that rotating wheel can't see why you cannot lower it down whenever you want to

I just had a mental image of Tang getting hit i the head by a 200 lb Lamm amplifier  Can he sue anyone for that ? Maybe David ? It says nothing in the manual about NOT suspending amps .

dramatically less likely to hurt yourself from properly installed ceiling mounted amps into concrete hanging above the bass horns, verses hurting yourself tripping over 4 large heavy amps sitting on the floor during naked air guitar.

Those amps weigh more than Tang, he will end up being suspended under the ceiling
