What is the price for the speaker and amp?
All prices are here: https://www.totaldac.com/prices.htm

d1-driver: 5800euros incl VAT in Europe, 5300euros excl VAT out of Europe

Amp-1 power amplifier (stereo or monobloc): 23000euros incl VAT in Europe, 22000euros excl VAT out of Europe

d100 speakers, a pair, excl shipping: 14900euros incl VAT in Europe, 13800euros excl VAT out of Europe

d100%wood speakers, solid wood cabinet, horn and driver frame, a pair, excl shipping: 21500euros incl VAT in Europe, 20000euros excl VAT out of Europe

We used the d100%wood in this room.

A question for all who visited both HE at MOC and Hifideluxe:
Did the systems at one of both venues sound better than at the other?

Thanks

Matt
My impression is that Hifideluxe had better sound, if only because there was much less ambient noise and manu of the rooms were slightly (or significantly) bigger, allowing the speakers to breathe better.
But the atmosphere was much more uplifting at MOC

I am also surprised no one has mentinoed the Marten speakers from Sweden, as they had premiere of couple of models of Coltrane series Or, the upgraded Peak Consult from Denmark....

The OMA room at the 2022 Munich Show has on active display;

K3 TT with Schroder SLM tonearm and PhaseMation PP-2000 cartridge
Custom K3 stand with Consolidated Audio Step-up transformer
OMA PD2 Phono Stage (premier)
Special K Integrate Amplifier (premier)
The Museum Loudspeakers (premier)
Fleetwood Sound Company Deville SQ Loudspeakers (appointment listening)
Equi=Tech 2QRE Balanced Power Supply
Analysis Plus Silver Apex Cable and Power Cord Loom
OMA Racks Sound Treatments

The OMA room suffered extremely from the ambient noise of the neighbor room so for next year the Hifideluxe might be a better option.

I did listen to them among many other speakers with ceramic membranes .
But im not such a fan of ceramics myself .
The ceramic design i did like personally based on a brief show impression was from Lyravox the karlotta this and the Magico A5 were my favourite small speakers , the karlotta is a aktive system.
The sasha daw sounded a bit thin / bass shy on the d agostinos

Most peculiar, even on an iPad Pro it sounded like I was in an iMax but not in a good way.
Have you considered the iMax sound is from the recording itself? Of course it is! It's a very processed recording. Don't blame the playback gear for being accurate.

If you read my addendum you would have found that I said as much, however that doesn’t negate that the electronics may be playing some part In that video.

I don't see an addendum...

Maybe some part, but who knows without putting another dac in the same setup? It's pretty obvious to me that this is an extremely pumped-up and processed recording. Unfortunately, in my opinion, these are the types of recordings that get a lot of play at shows because of their "WoW" impact.

Indeed so - also per my previous comments. And the naysayer himself uploaded multiple vids clearly illustrating the farce - talk about the irony :D

True … but wadda ya gonna do, the exhibitors are there to show what their electronics and transducers are capable of.

It is a chicken / egg situation really. “Showing off” a system with elevator Muzak that sounds good on your kitchen radio is kind of pointless to anyone who knows the score. Yes you’ll trick the buffoons out there. The industry surely needs to move away from this absurdity and show how their systems perform with recordings revered by music lovers not sound effects people. This was one of the primary reasons that people previously at Munich had their epiphany (thanks Spirit) when walking out of this absurdity and into the paradise found in the Silbatone room.

All imho ymmv etc.

There's is a humongous array of impactful, well recorded music that is also interesting. It's sad that the exhibitors think they have to play to the lowest common denominator. Even when classical is played, it's from a top ten list of chestnuts. If I ever went to an audio show, I'd be wearing a pair noise cancelling Stevie Ray Vaughn headphones. (nothing against SRV).

To be fair , there are exhibitors who play out of the usual suspects play list and who will even play ones own recordings on the day at a show.
