Best phono stage?

As someone who runs two Jeff Rowland Design Group Cadence phono preamps (both with Jensen SUTs coupled to Acoustical Systems Archon and Lyra Dorian Mono MC cartridges) drinking from a single BPS battery power supply, I am very interested to know how the current generation Conductor with and without the optional PSU compares. I generally prefer SUT-based phono preamps with MC cartridges, so it may come down to the sonic contribution of Jensen vs Lundahl transformers in the battle of old vs new JRDG phono preamps. No question that the latter is more flexible.
Have you gotten any new information? I have Rowland Model 12's so I would not mind having a Rowland phono pre. But I've been very interested in Freidrich Shaefer's ASR Basis Exclusive HV battery powered phono pre. Not much discussion around here about the HV.

Pls. tell us when you have tested it. You need an additional line stage. The switch on the back for choosing the phono channel is not easy to turn when using it.

Probably the CH Precision P-10 which I've heard several times and is quite amazing, but I'll stick with my Allnic H7000 for now . ;-)

I caught myself twice because I checked whether it was really switched on. No noise. Unfortunately nobody will pay any attention to this phono here, because it is too cheap for what this phonoamp can do. it just lets you enjoy the music as it is pressed on the LP.

Attention
If you change your cartridge every day, this device is not for you. The cartridge adjustment switch is on the underside of the phono. If you switch the device on, you will have to wait 72 hours. If you judge it too early, you will definitely miss out on the experience of what this phono preamp is capable of.

P.S therefore never switch off

That’s a good decision. CH-Precision is nice and has a lot of features but there are better phono stages, EMT JPA66, Aries Cerat Telos Signature, Allnic 5000
Interesting you say that as the person who's system where I heard the CH Precision phono preamp had the Allnic 5000 beforehand. He had made many changes so it's hard for me to make a direct comparison other than to say the CH gear was incredibly fast with razor quick leading transients and with greater dynamics versus the previous VTL amps, Absolare preamp and Allnic H5000. I heard it on digital also and he had the same TotalDAC setup (which I also purchased which is amazing IMO). I do attribute much of it to the CH amps, dual m1.1s versus the VTLs.

Birdwatcher,
I have Zanden and Kondo.

Sbo6,
I was able to listen to the CH Precision at High End Munich 2024 at 4 days. I was very close to an excellent setting with a great table, prominent loudspeakers and electronic gears from CH. Let me say I elaborated this phono stage and cannot agree with Michael Fremer’s assessment. It is a good one - agree. I rather would go for an Allnic 10.000.

no, a good friend lent it to me when he was on vacation. I had it at home for two weeks to test it with MM+MC cartridge without and with sut. I'm a tube person and in the last 20 years I've only had 3 transistor phono here. They gave me the feeling that I wasn't missing anything. Klyne PX 7, Gryphon Orestes and the Moon LP 810. I only have the small 310LP with converted external power supply. For the money a best buy.20221003_123407.jpg

The all new Sutherland Dos Locos makes a strong case as one of the best. It is certainly the best I have heard.

Is the 10000 quite better than the 8000 then?

Easy one - Aries Cerat Zephyrus 4 box design ... Partnered with Dava carts - magic
