Any cyclists here?

I never thought we would see an Eddy Merckx lilies dominance again, Even the drug aided Armstrong could not win one day races. I thought maybe Vanderpool could challenge him in the one-day races.
He is something special. Jordan-Esque.

Van der Poel is actually living in Belgium as well .
I ve heard he has plans to compete for belgium in the future ( to prevent being spit at in belgium lol , true )
I saw him training in Geraardsbergen / de muur couple of years ago.

He said he wasnt top today, , next week no hills for Tadej in Parijs - Roubaix, new chances for him and Wout

...man, it's a great time for racing. The talent is amazing and they've optimized diet, training, and bike-tech to the n-th degree. And greatly reduced "bad luck" impacts through ultra-preparation. If only I was...ha ha...no delusions there! These guys are special on a bike.

Its Van der Poel
Thank you.
No matter how you spell it, he is damn near unbeatable from 50km out. Try spelling Pogačar.
He had to attack from 100km in last year's world championship, and sill risk being caught.

...Sagan was pretty good at it. And a million years ago, Libor Karas could do almost anything on a bike. I was at C'dale during his era, and he had amazing skills. Probably beat Tadej in a wheelie contest, either wheel. Hill climb? Maybe not.

Having watched Van der POEL destroy so many on those two hills, it was amazing to see him so easily destroyed.

It might be interesting to see how they hold up to Lachlan Morton, who has the unofficial fastest time on the Tour Divide and I think also the Colorado Trail. He did both of those with a mountain bike that weighed around 40 pounds! To do that on the Tour Divide he had to ride over 200 miles a day for almost 2 weeks, nonstop (no rest days). Lachlan on the Tour Divide
