Avalon Tesseract

Looks terrible ... I wonder if that is some kind of pre-production model ?

Sorry, forgot to mention these are not my pics. They were taken in Avalon showroom in the factory if I recognize correctly. Also looking for some first listening impressions :)

They look creepy. Sitting down I bet I'd feel like a tied up Frodo with a couple of Ring Wraiths coming for me.

Yeah, the human sacrifice!

Those speakers look demonic and creep me out.

wow. i had to turn up the brightness of my screen to 'de-spook' me. :D listening to these in dim light, and on carmina burana, it would make a new experience.

Must be cool watching the lord of the rings with a pair of these ,with dimmed lights the speaker gives a extra special effect , they indeed look like the nazgul.:D

The Nazgûl or Ringwraiths, men enslaved by Sauron when they accepted his treacherous gifts of Rings of Power.

Thanks, Wizard!...what day is the show when they will be played?

Game of horseshoes anyone?

Wonder if they'll show at CES?

It has certainly taken them long enough. At one point they were threatening to show them at their showroom to the press during RMAF 2011. More than 2 years later they appear to be ready to possibly display them at a show. I guess you can't rush perfection.;)

For such an evil goth looking speaker like that, Dead Can Dance's classic album - Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun would be perfect! Or maybe Joy Division - Closer.

Probably closer to the truth would be some audio dribble like Diana Krall thou :-(
