Sorry Neil but your speakers really are spooky. I always found the Isis and Sentinel grand in an ancient aliens kind of way but these........

Those are much better pictures Jazzhead. In a different color they would blend into that room much better I'm sure. The bass cabinet is huge. I bet the bass response is epic. I wonder if the bass response is adjustable?

Thanks for the pictures Jazzhead. Were they using Nordost cables? We can see Lars Christensen on the left of the first picture.

Pleasure Sir .. No ZenSati No.1 was the cable in use for the Tesseract set up . Lars was there for the Raidho room , Nordost was used in the rooms below : 1463069_478975395554173_798861249_n.jpg 1482898_478975858887460_732112273_n.jpg 1455175_479351462183233_1570939788_n.jpg 1476571_479351185516594_1017207343_n.jpg 1455034_478975798887466_335601752_n.jpg

Lars has his own cable line now called Ansuz.

Dear Jazzhead,

Could you please share with us if the cabinet of Tesseract is made of MDF? Or other material?

Thanks !

This is all I know ...It does seem that the bass response can be tailored , no mention of cabinet construction though , my guess would be MDF with a high degree of bracing of varying density , if their past work is taken into consideration . Avalon at least till now, do not seem too keen on other exotic material .
