Greetings...My new, in transit DAC (no streamer) has an I2S (HDMI) input that I would like to experiment with as compared to its USB input. However, none of my ancillary equipment provide I2S (HDMI) output. Those include a GOLD NOTE DS10 streamer/dac/headphone amp which has zero digital outputs and a Baetis Prodigy 2 audio computer that does have HDMI outputs but those I assume are for video only as that is how I use it via video monitor.
My currently utilized audio set-up revolves around RJ45 ethernet converted to fiber then re-converted to RJ45 copper ethernet which inputs to my streamers RJ45 jack. Is there any type of converter that can convert the RJ45 ethernet data stream to HDMI I2S to then input to the I2S HDMI input on my new DAC? I looked at the Denafrips IRIS, Singxer SU-6 but these appear to work oppositely, converting I2S to RJ45 or USB...although I could be mistaken on that. Any ideas how to accomplish this connectivity??? Any guidance will be greatly appreciated! Thanx!
