So, it was a LONG wait, longer then anything i waited to any audio component ever.
but when it arraived and i opened it, all the long wait frustration were gone,
this Turntable is by far one of the most beautiful on the planet. Oscar and the guys over there in Italy knows what the Hell their doing -no doubt.
it was a couple of hours to set it up, very easy and straight forward.

i was assembling it with my Ikeda 407 and the SUMILE cart' and its sound wonderful from the get go. it was three to four weeks until i actually said it was done breaking in and makes in to his full potential.
its big, juicy, emotional and very musical instrument. very little HIGH FI feeling but detailed and tight all together. i was afraid innately that it will get some IDLER noise, but i cant hear a thing. this turntable is quiet almost as my old TD AF3... (now be replaced with the Premium one.. )
i am in love with the T34 it actually playing better then i was expected.

This tt was on my radar for a little while, w refurbished SAEC 506 arm, but issues on being able to audition it scuppered final consideration.

Seems we have same TT,
AF3P and Torqueo,
mine is T 34 limited

Gian, how is yours? You have been quiet about it? And how do you like the 506?

Paul, I heard the 506 on a well sorted vintage Sony DD. It's a fantastic arm, both from a visual impression of true old school solidity of engineering, and from an audio impression of unflappable calm, genuine transparency, natural resolution (by which I mean no etched hyper detail, speed and imaging on a purely human scale, nothing drawing attention to the sound).

Was that my one Marc?

Yes LOL.
You know how much I loved yr sound, the SAEC I'm v sure was a big part of that.
Re the Torqueo, there was a possibility of buying factory direct at a bit of a discount, but no chance of auditioning it there.
To listen to it, Id have to have travelled to Sweden I think, not practical.
And so things came to naught.

Milan, where there is good food and your gf can enjoy while you hang out with Gian and compare to his Vyger

I don't have your contacts Ked, or drive to interrupt everyone's free time.

That's very good of you.
I've found that if it wasn't for the spending in this hobby, we would all be rich.
