Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Perhaps to trust your own ears. . .?

Yes, I always trust my own ears, for sure. However, Emile's view would be welcome, at least for me. I have spent time testing the best combination for the Extreme. If he tells me it should be the same for the Olympus, I will probably not spend any time testing again.

It is likely you may end up having the same preferences, however as the benefits can be considerable for a rather minor time investment I would recommend revisiting this with any component change.

Hello,

With some help from @nenon, I had the chance to try grounding my Extreme, nothing fancy. Was not expecting much but now that I've heard the improvement, I am thinking of getting a proper grounding system. Tripoint is not in my budget so looking for recommendations.

Thank you in advance,
Arun

Try a Montaudio Wanaka GR from New Zealand, excellent product. I use it myself, though, in my case, on my preamplifier.

Thank you, will look into these. Anyone still using the more common brands such as Entreq and Shunyata?

Yes, I have Shunyata’s ALTAIRA (Signal) Hubs throughout. Have been very happy with the results. Just make sure you tie all the hubs together if you use more than one, and it’s best to have everything connected to one common breaker.

Thank you, that's very helpful and good to know.
