@Zeotrope I notice that the wall wart is 12v 2 amp and this battery you use is 12v 3 amp/5v 2 amp. I doubt there is cause for concern but felt it needs mention
Yes, glad you raised that. That is just the peak current that the wall wart and the battery can provide. The Schnerzinger units draw less than 2A. What you connect to the power source is what is determining the current output. So as long as the battery can put out at least 2A, you are fine.

My guess is that the Schnerzinger units use well below 1A.

I was connecting all of my wart walls to an outlet that is not on the same circuit as the components. There’s still an improvement because the Schnerzinger units are powered by ‘dirty’ wall warts vs batteries.
