@aangen glad to know you are joining us in this new rabbit hole. Hope you’ll find the GRID a good companion of your PowerZone as I’m experiencing here.
My next purchase could be the EMI Protector but I was told that a MULTI GUARD set should be the logical next step after the GRID, to make its job really complete.
to those using the Protectors....plug them directly into the wall. They are not meant to be plugged into power conditioners Nor would I suggest an LPS be used
Hi Steve, Thanks to you and Luca.Pelliccioli I have now ordered a Grid Protector from Gideon. Gideon encouraged me correctly to get the EMI Protector at the same time. I am going to hold off as I am a pleasure delayer. I am amused to be buying into what so many believe to be Snake Oil product once again. You and others here make it seem like a pretty safe bet.
Looking forward to your experiences. I am also considering one - but getting firsthand feedback of people who are objectively approaching things is always best.
Is it possible to measure my power quality to see if there is enough noise or interference to make it worthwhile investing in new dedicated circuits or something like the Grid Protector? And can can you also measure improvements after installing the Grid Protector?
I have a Ting monitor that tracks variation in line voltage and high frequency noise- this was provided by my insurance company for fire safety. Ting also recently started tracking total harmonic distortion and is rating power companies (example map below). Is this giving me any useful information about my power quality, or are there other measurement I can make to assess my power quality?

My Schnerzinger Grid Protector arrived yesterday. I was sad that there wasn't a single piece of paper in the box. When I found and downloaded the instructions for it I printed them on two sides of a single sheet of paper. That could have been in the box.
That aside, once I had it connected I just wanted to hear my favorite top 5000 songs. My goodness the GP makes a lovely difference!!!!
I am not doubting Grid potector has a sonic impact. It would be interesting to measure the RF in the room before and after. And use a scope meter on the mains. I sort of doubt there would be a measurable change. If it did disrupt RF, it would be an invaluable tool for analog as pertains to hum/radio interference. Does anyone with the devices notice if noisy vinyl has a reduction in noise.

Too bad you’re a doubter Rex. I found a big difference with vinyl as well. I don’t think anyone has stated that this device is limited to the digital side of one’s system. They aren’t. The only one perhaps is the LAN Protecter. These are truly “system changers”
For that price they should at least include one. Maybe Steve can send that feedback to them. As customers not sure how to use it etc is never a good start with a product.
