I love Gobel Majestic so you can first buy It then add subwoofers after awhile.
You can start with 2 subwoofers then add more up to six.
As you know the Noblesse performance is very high but if you see big Majestic and feel it’s glory you will fall in love with it. The pictures of Majestic did not impress me but when I saw Majestic closely it was marvelous/perfect.
I 100% prefer to have 6 Gobel subwoofers and I will not order Gobel Majestic without subwoofers.
I prefer Gobel subwoofer because the sound experience is very different. Some audiophiles believes the subwoofers are just for extra gain in lower bass but in my opinion the 6 gobel subwoofers change many aspects of the sound.
I do not know why but adding 6 subwoofers also change the midrange.
Coming back to this, Amir...can you describe the difference between the Majestic by itself vs the Majestic with the dual subwoofer columns? It is clear you prefer Majestic only with the subwoofers. Would really like to understand why and what you hear is the material difference between WITH and WITHOUT the subwoofer towers. Thank you!

Excuse me for late reply, I did not check WBF for some days.
Please come to munich Show 2025 and visit Gobel Showroom. I think you will find it very interesting experience listening to Gobel majestic with and without subwoofers.

I read an article on Stereophile suggesting that using a single subwoofer ruins low-frequency enjoyment. Instead, it recommends using two subs placed next to the speakers. In my opinion, using no subwoofers at all is best. These points align with my post #72.

So if you've got a sub/sat system at home, go buy a matching second sub to form a proper L–R pair, place your subs near (preferably just to the outside of) your main speakers, keep the crossover point low, and tap the sound from the main speakers for the two subs.
Modern sounding speakers:
We have some aspects like -dynamic -harmonic -image …
Modern sounding speakers trade off dynamics for better objective measurements. Most audiophiles prefer modern sounding speakers.
About comparing Tidal LA vs Gobel Majestic I think the best way is traveling to both Tidal and Gobel showrooms in Germany.
I am sure you will see Gobel Majestic is more dynamic more alive more natural than Tidal LA.
I think “dynamic” is the most important aspect of sound.
To be fair I have only heard most of these speakers under show condition but I am not a fan. Dynamics are an issue for sure and I would add they just don't sound real. They are kind of like a picture that has been air brushed, pretty but not authentic!

I remember liking the Goebel room last year. It was I believe the Divin Comtesse with a Sovereign sub. They were also one of the presenters that looked like they put a little work into room acoustics.
Alas no Munich this year, it will have to be Vienna 2026.
