A classic scene from Carry on audiophile… when the all the audio reviewers finally catch up with Caesar…

Noone said the course of an audiophile was straightforward.

And this is the scene on the audiophile who keeps buying expensive stuff

Tho I’d gladly have a mighty expensive biggus dickus hornerus with single ended tubulus over an inexpensive WAFfy smallus boxus speakerus and incontinentia class d buttocks any day

Incontentia buttocks is deffo a problem in this hobby, sitting immobile for hours in front of one's system.

And we know who the Biggus Dickus are in this hobby.

The movie will also have this scene of one forumite who keeps losing debates with multiple people but keeps coming back for more as if he won the debate

I think there’s a bit of the black knight in all of us Ked… it’s written into the TOS under stereo-typical audio default online debating tactics 101.

Oh, Monty Python insanity is the guidebook for this hobby. I can just see John Cleese arguing with Michael Palin on Natural Sound and epiphanies over fuses.

Michael Palin is not the messiah Marc… he’s just a very naughty audiophile

You're meaning Graham Chapman, but I'll let you off.

Many thanks Marc… tho it was not exactly unforgettable comedy

Oh, you don't grow up as a teen in 1970s Britain and ever forget Python.

Will admit very funny still, tho Carry on seems to have more comic miles on it… not quite as dry as Cleese, a bit more analogue.

I can see the thread.
"Which comedian best represents your system/approach?"
I'm still at The Three Stooges stage.

Australians don’t do comedy Marc… we do Paul Hogan and Linda Koslowski doing Crocodile Dundee… uhmmm call this a cosmetic surgery knife
