I just came back from a 1,5 hour demo at ultimate audio in lisbon.
Miquel kindly hosted me for an extended demo.
Unfortunately the gryphon apex was at a customer for home demo
But non the less a very good controlled clean sound , but coming from tubes i missed a bit warmth.
Wadax again very good digital, most obvious on voice reproduction quality afaik.
Also very good subintegration, one of the best i have heard

whether someone likes the Wadax look or not i don't really care.
If so then why feel the need to react as you did ! I am sure that the WADAX is a mighty fine music maker indeed, just merely not to my taste aesthetically.
BTW I personally like the darTZeel house look , but then I am a fan of Tony Starks Ironman ;)

and as a 17 year darTZeel owner who never personally loved the red and gold design, i long ago was desensitized to other's view of my gear aesthetics, it's just not important to me. i've owned lots of blasé' or worse looking gear. whether someone likes the Wadax look or not i don't really care.

i can tell you that in person it's a work of art. but that's just me.

17 years with the same amp is boring no matter how good the amp

Ked, some guys show more longevity to their audio choices than their marital choices.
