Zero Distortion: Tango Time

David’ s unfounded jealously of competing successful small and large shop audio manufacturers is somewhat evident. Why, who knows; apparently, it is not necessary.

David, while developing his new “Uber” $500k TT he took shots at the Zero and reviewer in the Audio Salon thread... David, no need to thank me for the early announcement.

Emile, a well respected and very helpful designer that had just finished a nicely documented trip this side of the ponds visiting Steve, Mike, and Bob. He has many fans of his electronic kits; so much, he has been capacity constrained for some time. Oh btw, as elsewhere in this thread, the platforms in question come with a full-refund policy... try it, if you like it, super...if not, please return for a refund.

Then there are the arc distortions of the 3012, have you moved onto a linear tracker to protect your pristine vinyl? Me, I passed on this tonearm and waiting patiently for my Vyger...delivery scheduled early next year.

David accusing others of snake oil, simply projective identity, me thinks...

Cheers!

f I remember correctly, your last experience with a linear tracking tone arm (Rockport) didn't go so well. I'm surprised that you would go down that road again.

Alan we both know that your childish stabs and fibs have nothing to do with any of this and it’s because I didn’t let you weasel out of your purchase a second time. I have 6 months of your bullshit excuses and failed payment promises in emails.
Funny someone mentioned Rockport because there are other members who’re familiar with your cons and big shot act. Please do everyone a favor and don’t drag everything here down to your level. Not going to end up well for you!

I would like to invite ANYONE to visit Rhapsody in Manhattan. I have 18 Daiza currently under pieces of equipment. I also have 9 additional Diazas on order so that I can double up on the Daizas on critical path components.

I sell the Extreme from Taiko Audio but I do NOT sell the Diazas platforms, I bought the 27 platforms due to observed audio performance, nothing more than that.

If David's opinion, and it's nothing more than that, is accurate that the Diazas "Kill the sound', then my systems should be SO DEAD that you cannot hear anything at all.

SEVERAL members here on WBF have already heard my systems and I ask them, do I have DEAD SOUND?

Anyway, come by for a listen and see what you think personally vs. others opinions.

It looks like this:

74332705-7B37-430A-B025-1E176F28CBD8.jpeg

It is present in any object, suspect (hope) you are aware. There are multiple ways to get rid of it, we choose the “crop circles”. It is basically neutral now.

As we hardly shipped any new versions Daiza to Hong Kong, can you put me in touch with that member for an update.

If it is used with something voiced with very heavy chassis colouration it may alter the tonal balance, but I have not come across that so far.

Honestly I don’t feel it’s worth to waste a thread on.
I agree with you Emile. There is already a thread on Taiko Daiza. And What is the point in debating the sound of it. Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry. There are people like me who have good experience with Taiko Daiza. Obviously David has different experiences. I did not respond to David's comments on Daiza only because I never defend any product. I only report my experience with a product as I hear it in my system. If someone hear it differently that's his ears. The whole issue is only that David slammed at Daiza while being an industry affiliate. I agree with Steve that David's direct comments on Daiza should be deleted..only because he is a manufacturer. But if it was someone like me who is a pure consumer, a buyer, said the exact things, I would oppose such intervention. Customer feedbacks should be allow to express freely either side. What I and quite a few people here hear is one thing what David hear is another. What is to debate about that. Why would we need another thread debating on a product when what some of you really want to do is to slam back at David. Instead, DDK IS AN ASS should be the thread people who are angry at David should set it up. Go at him directly. Don't bush around.

Tang, I was under the impression that any new thread was to be about the topic of Panzerholz as a platform material or as used in other applications in audio products, and not about the Taiko Daiza platform specifically. I agree with you that there is already a thread discussing the Taiko Daiza.

I may be mistaken, but didn't this whole dust up start after you posted that video of the Appassionata? I think it is the direct to disk 45 rpm that I often play on my system. Have you considered posting a video without the platforms in place to see if people notice a difference? It's a lot of work for sure, but then there might be something specific to discuss and get your thread back on topic. OTOH, if you are happy with the sound, as you seemed to indicate in the text on that video post, then all is right with the Tang world and we can move on.

...no disrespect intended Tim; however, I have to respectfully disagree...

Obviously this topic has ran it’s course crashed and burned Peter, best way to find out is to order a piece of Pazerholz online and put it under your preamp, transformation is immediate.

Yes but everyone is wasting this wonderful thread on this tangent.
Boys just want to have fun ;).

I promise to get everyone back on music after my jetlag is gone Folsom.

We could ask Steve to delete everything after page 86 or so and start a seperate panzerholz thread. It would restore this thread to where it used to be.
I’m awaiting the decision of everyone involved

No need Emile. Ked and I are fine. He is indian. I am Thai. We like it spicy. This is full of life.

I mean Let's just move on.

I think moral of the story is next time you post either bouquets or brickbats for a product, post before and after.

No this is a different Apassionata, not the same 45. This is B'Ap
