Final Word on Wood Glue for Cleaning Records?

That guy is clueless. You need to evenly coat the record with glue with no thin spots. Use a brush or business card. Then it will come off in one piece.

I have only done this once but had no trouble with it. I only tried it because nothing was effective on this particular used record. Turned out that the noise was groove damage and wood glue did not help either. It did lower the noise floor on the undamaged parts of the record though.
