here's an interesting morning fact...the Rockets are on a 6 game win streak which currently is the longest in the NBA....still in the near bottom of the standings
My guess is he will surpass Ray Allen in between 4 and 7 gamesRecords are made to be broken , so is there any doubt that Steph is the greatest 3 point shooter of all time and he will break the record in the near future
Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is on pace to pass Hall of Famer Ray Allen as the NBA’s all-time leader in 3-pointers made.
Curry hit five 3-pointers against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday to increase his all-time total to 2,951 3-pointers, which brings him 23 3-pointers away from passing Allen for the top spot. The Warriors’ next game is Monday against the Magic (10 ET, NBA League Pass).
All-Time Leaderboard: 3-Pointers Made
• Tracker: Curry needs 23 more 3-pointers to pass Ray Allen.
The way Steph can shoot it could come even sooner but it will happenMy guess is he will surpass Ray Allen in between 4 and 7 games
I would say realistically 5 games and 7 games topsThe way Steph can shoot it could come even sooner but it will happen
Higher than what I would have guessed. What does he rank among point guards?
We called your Bulls Bob!
To me it shows that the 'sky hook' is better than the 3 ball.Interesting that Steph has scored just over 19000 total points as a player which doesn’t even put him close to being in the top 25 of all time scorers
I was a teen starting to play the game when the Sky hook of then Lew Alcindor really got me in total awe. And mostly I saw 'swish' through the net, that's how accurate and deadly that shot was. Magic finally got on baby sky hook to count when it matter in a Finals against the Celtics. That was a dagger shot over McHale. The sky hook was something that only Kareem could do Justice to. It was copied by many but equaled by none
i was at many games watching Kareem make that shot.
Despite the smiling look of Magic, he looked menacing later with his trimmed beard. If I were going to make a guess, I would say that even though it was copied but never equaled, the closest to do such however was none other than Magic Johnson. I will never forget an OT win Magic made. The tickets were 3 rows behind the Lakers bench and when Magic made that sky hook to win the game.....well the rest is history
gso Phil, game 2 between Celts and Lakers is tomorrow at Staples. The last game was utter dominance by the Celtics who totally humiliated the Lakers
LeBron is back so that should make some difference but when watching the Lakers it s the 3rd period collapse where age catches up and affects their play in an adverse way
No team fears this Lakers team regardless of its "who's who". They just don't play defense hoping they will outscore their opponents
Imo, Westbrook is confused each game as to what his role will be. He doesn't have the blank check to shoot like he did in OKC or Washington. Lebron calls the plays and most often it's his play for his stat padding campaign. Westbrook is not a catch and shoot guy and needs to weave. I can see that he performs better when is is the real point guard.so Phil, game 2 between Celts and Lakers is tomorrow at Staples.
