Boston was beaten by a rookie named Boston, literally, in LA.
Brandon Boston was a second round pick (51st) last year by the Clippers. He played at Sierra Canyon with LeBron's son and then went to Kentucky for one year.
Coming out of high school he was projected as an early first round pick but due to injury his season at UK was below expectation and his draft stock fell.
Clippers rolled the dice and it looks like it paid off. Of course one game doesn't tell the whole story but he sure looked promising.
Clippers need to develop some good young players because they emptied the cupboard to add Kawhi and Paul Geoge.
So far Terrence Mann has developed into a good player and Boston (knock on wood) looks good, too.
Best part is it looks like the money Ballmer spent to build the front office has been a good investment.

Lakers in Memphis who are without Ja Morant. They quickly have an early 9 point lead which they give up and are down 92-80 at the end of 3 as the Lakers again cave in the 3rd and 4th. Too many turnovers again and no defense

The good news I read is that Jayson Tatum is 8th in the league in scoring. The bad news is the Celts are in Phoenix tonight to face the Suns.

Clipps got away lucky yesterday and are now in 5 th in the west a half game ahead of the Lakers
Bigger news is the GSW losing to the Sixers leaving the Suns now in first a half game ahead
And finally I keep saying the Cavs are for real as they are 6 th in the EC.

looks like the Clippers and a lakers are now competing for bragging rights in LA as the Clipps are half game ahead of Lakers It seems the only steady scoring Laker is Le Bron who is now doing things ( as always) his way.
in the East however the Bucks are beginning to peak as they are now in 2nd place behind the Nets
so far it seems the East comes down to Nets/Bucks and Suns/GSW in the west.

Unfortunately being the best team in LA doesn't have much oomph these days as both are in the vicinity of a .500 record.
Clippers will have their hands full tonight at Crips Arena in downtown LA - even more so if Paul George isn't playing.
Devin Booker will miss tonights game due to injury so that evens things up a bit.
