Nice to read about other satisfied L-07D owners here in the forum! Like you, I had the same problem that I couldn't fit a second tonearm.
But since I like to mount tonearms like Schick, SME 3009R or Fidelity Research FR-64xx, I had to find a solution.
And I came up with one:
If we find a few interested L-07D owners, I would probably made a small edition of aluminum or brass.
