Piano videos

Post a video and let us hear those Heresys !
Greetings tima :)
I'm banned on YouTube for several years now so I can't post a vid because of that. I can access YouTube vids using the "preview" feature on my phone however.

bonzo75 wanted to hear my Heresy speakers also so I sent him a couple of vids on WhatsApp.
Sorry for the inconvenience...

Best I've heard his Bionars/system. Delightful recording. Funny how he has the Ayons in the middle.

The 12AX7 and 12AX3 are really the only rollable tube in the ML3. I do not care for Telefunken 12AX7 in the ML2.2. 60's Philips Miniwatt or 70s Sylvania. Have not tried Mullard - they do have a reputation for a bit fuller, sometimes warmer character.
I had these Ayon monos for review some years ago. Quite potent bottom end and full midrange, not the most extended on top.

He is not using them to play here, he is playing with Lamm. They are just sitting there

Thank you Sir.

Aer BD 7.

Kindest regards, G.
Sir, BD 7 is unknown to me. Did you buy them from Bert Doppenberg or from AER direct (I can only find AER 1 & 1B; AER 2 & 2B; and AER 3 & 3B on either of their websites)?

Bert started it. He doesn't do it anymore.

There is a German guy who does it. It is 4 onwards that it gets good, 5 is absolutely amazing, but both 4 and 5 are too expensive, though they are single drivers and hence one get very low powered amps (that are usually less expensive than high powered). Also a pain to set up as they suck till they sing like the best speakers. I think the set ups G is doing (in terms of matching components and the path) gets a lot of credit and analog is best heard by far through such systems - every nuance of the performance and recording just flows through. This is just a Garrard (yes some will take umbrage at just) but listen to the nuances in the piano.

I really enjoyed listening your video but it sounded a little bit forward and somewhat thick to my ears. Maybe it’s because the volume is too high or maybe the full range character. I hear the same forward sound with my 10” Cube Audio Nenuphars. I’m sure your AERs are better but probably forward sound comes with full range.

BTW I rarely listen to my full range Nenuphars cause I don’t think they’re good enough for my liking. I'm hoping to get Kharma Exquisite Galileo 3.0 in the future.

Excellent sounding. I really like the way the energy hangs in the room. The system clearly extracts the information from the recording and then presents it very naturally, IMO. It is immediate and present. What turntable/arm/cartridge? Thank you for sharing.
