he heard it there FYII've read it a while ago, just want a fresh take.
Javier includes some magic mushrooms with every purchase LOLOCD Mikey’s comment about thinking he understands what that WADAX is doing is quite fascinating. Something additive to make the replay sound more like vinyl.
Beautiful spaces !I don’t “design for Bespoke.” Is that a company? Because it is also an adjective. I’m an architect, and i design large-scale cultural institutions including for the performing arts. Due to the programmatic complexities and extraordinarily high level of required performance, nearly everything in the projects is custom. Brooklyn Museum tensile glass; Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall. Budgets in the $100 million +. View attachment 107696View attachment 107697

OY Vey you take the cake. I personally don’t care what they do but the downright absurd comments i take umbrage with.Elliot, WBF is better than what exactly? Here we have two influencers, one on a website, the other on YouTube. They meet here and decide to get together and to compare their respective DACs in a much discussed system. This all sounds like fun, and they may both learn something. What is not to like. The best thing about WBF now is the chance to meet a few others who share your interests.
Wow.... LOL.... Ridiculous IMHO..Karma already makes a 1.5 million dollar speaker. The Enigma Veyron … pretty little thing. Of course there is yet more expensive ones like the Hart Audio D&W Aural Pleasure at 5 mil.

I would LOVE to hear any of those brands impress me.. Honestly... Because they represent the industry to people that dont know us due to their strong marketing. Again, it could be personal preference between "wow" factor and actual musical engagement. Wilson and Magico certainly win high marks in the visually stunning category... I just feel the unsuspecting buyers are being taken for a ride as far as what is great sound... Its not totally subjective IMHO... only slightly... Most of us end up in the same camp of what sounds great..IMO, you just need to hear Magicos and Wilson’s properly set up. Though I own Magico M3s, Wilsons sound amazing IMO. I had a friend own some Alexia 2s and they were stunning. Lee just did a video on the Alexia V. It’s well done and includes some of the manufacturing process in the video as well. It’s pretty amazing.
Also I know dealers who give a lot to charity. Just because they don't always advertise such doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. A group of audiophiles I know gave a lot during COVID. I’m sure there’s other examples out there as well. And though I do purchase high-end gear we give as well. IMO you can’t paint everyone with the same brush.
Wow Elliot, so salty..... Damn, if this is what I get for giving you proper recognition, I cant imagine what would happen if I engaged in your trash talking. Im supposed to be the immature one, not you with all of your experience.. for you were in Baghdad when I was still in my Dads bag... (yes, I find stupid statements like this funny)I have to say that Mikey has himself some magic ears.He sat in my room at a show with at best a mediocre room for perhaps 10 minutes ( bet he can't even tell you what he heard musically), with brand new amps and preamp, a brand new power supply for the Wadax, with speakers and electronics he does not like nor own and MAGICALLY he can hear the Wadax and the Wadax alone and HE Knows what it sounds like and they are adding things.
I think Mike is wasting his time in audio he should be curing Cancer, wiping out world hunger, writing new symphonic masterpieces(this is particularly amusing), starting for the Atlanta Falcons at QB, winning the Indy 500 and whatever else he wants to grace us with in his spare time.
I am sorry but anybody that believes this hokem is going to end up with what they deserve a hot steaming pile of Sh-T.
This forum is i thought better than this. It truly is very disappointing.
Any one who wants to hear a Wadax or anything else get off you butt and do it. It is not possible to experience these things from an iphone video or from someone with an agenda second hand. Period
The real fact here is after he ranted and raved about how great ONLY his stuff is someone actually took him up on his challenge. I am very curious to see what happens when he goes to Mike Mountain if he has the courage to actually go through with his bluster.

I'm curious, why would you go to a show with brand new gear.He sat in my room at a show with at best a mediocre room for perhaps 10 minutes ( bet he can't even tell you what he heard musically), with brand new amps and preamp, a brand new power supply for the Wadax, with speakers and electronics he does not like nor own and MAGICALLY he can hear the Wadax and the Wadax alone and HE Knows what it sounds like

how else would you show people brand new product. Also when you ship old product it’s still unplugged, packed , shipped, stored in a warehouse, retrucked, pallet jacked , handtrucked to your roomI'm curious, why would you go to a show with brand new gear.
put me on ignoreWe need a thumbs down or dislike button. I find some members fiery comments worthy of a boooooo.
Acerbic and funny at the same time. But c'mon Elliot. The only way the guy's going to love the product is if he sells it. He's just being his salesman self. Seems like typical audiophile soap opera fare. Marty, Is it possible a Dealer only sells what he thinks is best in the marketplace ? So you got it backwards. The only reason I sell a brand and model is because I love it and use it myself... Otherwise Id sell turntables and preamps wouldn't I ?? Everyone LOVES turntables, but I dont... so I cut my income in order to be true to my beliefs... My point is just because someone sells something does not make them dishonest. Also, everyone is a salesperson... even the preacher is selling religion..Acerbic and funny at the same time.
