I would love your ML3s, but I don't know the condition and I don't think I want to pay what you are asking.
Mint condition, checked by Vladimir Lamm. But the Lamm ML3 needs the LL1 or LL1.1, don't believe otherwise ... What speakers would you use with them?

Who would the ML# need the LL1? Wouldn't the LL2 or L2 work as well?

Yes, in terms of working well, imo. Of course these are tiered, LL2.1 Deluxe, L2.1 Reference, and at the top, the 4-box LL1.1 Signature. I suspect Francisco is saying the ML3, as Lamm's top SET, deserves the top linestage. Imo it's a matter of refinement, but any of the three will synergize with the ML3s or other Lamm amps. I had the LP2.1 with the L2.1 Ref and M1.2 Ref when I reviewed the phonostage, and now have the LP1 Signature with the L2.1 and M1.2s, and likely will have the LL1.1 Sig in the not too distant future - they all work well together.

Acquiring the ML3s llikely would be coincident with acquiring appropriate speakers for them to drive. For many of us, both together might be a substantial outlay, though buying used could make it easier. I would look for top condition as I bet @PeterA would, so that might be one determining factor. How often do top condition ML3s come to market?

Then again, I don't know how declasse It would be to drive vintage horns with solid state Pass amps.;)

Yes once import tax and European VAT has been paid, those babies are not leaving the EU again

Try adding a Brexit Charge to the UK!

Could you expand this, please. I'm not sure what you're saying. If you're saying the ML3 is different than the M1.2, well sure - it's be weird if they didn't given their topology and $100k difference in cost.
No, I am referring to the L1 signature versus the L2 reference preamplifier.

Peter heard the ML3 at David’s house

Surely Steve - no one doubts about it. But we can ask David a direct question - if martians reading WBF attack his house and take the Bionors to Mars and and there is no existent Bionor left in the Earth, which exact speaker would he put in his big system?
If the Martians were smart, they would take David to Mars and not the Bionors...

Why do you assume there’s only one pair of Bionors on earth? Do you think there’s only one original American Sound table on earth?

Five years from now I may travel with friends to hear another pair of speakers just like David’s. They will be on a hilltop somewhere remote for anyone to hear. The view at sunset is spectacular.

We will see. I like Magico, but I prefer the Q3 to the S5 and S5 II that I heard in different systems, so no direct comparisons made. If I make any speaker changes, it will likely be toward a high efficiency speaker.
IMHO, the only Magico speakers worth owning were Mini, V2 and Q3.

My thoughts exactly.

Edit: I say this having owned both and only these two. However I should add that I have heard some great music coming out of MadFloyd’s system with a Magico M pro speaker. I never really considered it because it was too expensive at the time. Sorry for the oversight Ian.

Simple, David would move to Mars...

Would be interesting to know just how many pairs are out there. Probably not a lot though. The pair I heard was in Frankfurt back in 2003...haven't seen or heard them since....
