Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

This is my 2nd SGM Extreme.

1st Extreme will be for SGM Extreme Experience Service to whole Korean audiophiles.

2nd Extreme is for my visitors.

As I know, Emile has updated Extreme.

I just receive 2nd Extreme.

Though Emile has burn in this music server, I think this Extreme have to be more burn in.

Nevertheless, 2nd Extreme is better than my 1st Extreme.

More Transparent / Resolution / Analogue Sound

Roon Remote is also worked fast.

Emile's update will be continually.

SGM Extreme will be perfect more and more, I think.

In case people are wondering, this update is all software, it's already been applied to all Extremes except the first Extreme mentioned above which will be updated next week.

Sure it's expensive, but relatively speaking compared to $100K + Digital Stacks I would invite comparisons and with the Extreme feeding not crazy expenive dacs. Ie, Aqua Formula, Total Dac etc. In this game I think it might be a bargain.

Even the innuos statement is not in the same league pricwise, nonetheless i m sure the extreme is one of the best at this price, and honestly it better be.
I m searching for a server now, and this one is definitely out of my range.

The good part is there are a lot of great digital products out there now at all price points. Easy, for me anyway, to enjoy digital/streaming at even modest price points.

Any comparisons of Extreme and Rockna server?

I've had the Extreme for 12 hours so no. Even down the road I personally don't compare $10K products vs. $25K products both of which I represent. I do have them available for people to visit and decide for themselves.

I will say one thing and it has nothing to do with Rockna. When I uncrated the Extreme I had a demo coming up in a few hours. The demo was for an integrated with a built in dac and a $12K set of speakers. I normally have anywhere from $100K, $200K on up to $500K+ systems that I use for demos.

I connected the Extreme to the $25K system and demo'd with Tidal/Qobuz. The sound coming out of that $25K system was FAR superior for streaming than I've ever heard either in my room, Munich, or anyone else's room on ANY system. I was shall we say STUNNED.

IMHO : Statement = SGM2015 < EVO << Extreme.
However it's difficult to grade the diff in percentage.
