Well, I see that some scientists are not even able to carry basic calculus in their statistics ... But I would love to know who is is your reference in stereo audio science. Alan Blumlein?
Well, it may have escaped your observation that I used the phrase "seems to appear", which already points to an inherent uncertainty, tongue-in-cheek or not. You cite Floyd Toole so often that it sure makes a certain impression.
In any case, I am glad that we can agree to disagree; lIke you I consider this particular discussion to be over.
Romy s experiences can not be general interpreted.
From what i saw in the YT vid his listening room is completely filled with cigar smoke , so sound waves may travel at different speed
Are you suggesting that he smokes in certain locations to time align his drivers at the main listening seat?
I wish that he would play his system during a few videos so that we could hear what it sounds like in the new room. I have no idea if he smokes while listening, or if the room is full of smoke when he listens. I heard his system at his old room with DDK, and no one was smoking cigars. I think his ruminations are actually pretty interesting and can be interpreted if you have experienced this kind of a system presentation and witnessed his response to the music. I remember a particularly animated performance of Romy conducting a Bruckner symphony.
