Hi guys,
Hope everyone is staying safe. Hang in there, everything has to come to an end and we can only come out stronger.

Just an update with my double switch. I tried the ethernet connection (Sotm dcbl-Cat7) and safely say that I prefer the optical connection, with the ethernet connection there is a bit more weight in the bass region but it is noisier, some might like it though. As for me, I like the optical connection as its so damn quiet now. Details are very clear and crisp. I especially love the guitar and the piano. With the optical though, get a good USB cable, it does scale with a good USB cable. Personally I'm using Tellurium Silver Diamond x 2.

I will be getting the transceiver that Emile recommended on the Extreme thread soon. It will take a while to reach though I guess with flights at a premium.

Stay safe guys, God bless.

Jarek,

I know that. If you look at the question, it was clock OUTPUT.

How do I open your Uptone regn playlist in Roon? I am in Qobuz but there is no search that comes up w your name or playlist. Thanks

Until Qobuz implements searchable public playlists, a feature that has been on their roadmap for a long time, this is more convoluted than it should be.

In a browser, try this link: https://play.qobuz.com/playlist/2762443

This should open a new browser tab, or it may switch to the Qobuz app if you have it installed on the machine. If or when prompted, login to your Qobuz account. You should now see the playlist displayed. Click on the "heart" icon to subscribe to the playlist. After this, the playlist should show up under "My Playlists."

Back in Roon, click on Qobuz, and click on "My Qobuz". In the My Playlists view, you should now see this newly subscribed playlist.

Thanks. The problem is that I didn't have the Qobuz app on my ipad but only in Roon. Once I downloaded the Qobuz app on the ipad, the rest was easy. Nice music selections. Thanks
Marty

Who sells the Melco in the US?

Hi Bruce,
I don't think you get it in the States, you have to get it off a Japanese website. One more thing, the JDM model isn't called Melco, its called Aelco or something like that. Please google it bro.

Hi guys, my soTm 50ohm BNC just landed and drum roll...........WOW!!!!!!!! It just transformed my 2nd switch from ok, to god what is this I’m hearing. I was using just a normal Canare cable till now as I was waiting on the soTm cable to arrive. I’m so glad to have finally got it. The sound is in a whole different league now. The switch is really showing it’s full potential now.
