Zero Distortion: Tango Time

This is plain silly

Soon you will see all the Bovet(echo de rompon),Livia Rev and Yvonne and Giannoli.

Even the mighty Bundervoet,

Patience is paramount,

Kindest regards,G.

I am going to learn so much with these records. Love it.

Tang :)

The Chopin Valses and one of the Nixas is gone.

I already have the Yvonne Faure impromptus, in addition to two others. The rest are unaffordable and I wouldn't want them anyway

The Brahms trio Sarastro is quite good. I have a couple of others which though sonically good are disappointing performances, especially the Beethoven cello sonata, compared to the rostropivich Richter on Philips. The Anne Chaplin harpsichord is excellent especially when played with the VdH, with the other carts at Tang's it sounded like the top half was cut off

i have all 29 (if i remember that correctly) of the Sarastro 45rpm pressings. it took a good deal of investigation and pursuit to finally locate them all.

they are consistently excellent sounding, quiet, and i enjoy the music too.

vintage 45rpm pressings of classical music is unusual.
You have good stuff Mike. I only have that Ann Chappelan harpsichord. Excellent recording. But harpsichord is like sweet dessert for me. I cannot listen to it the whole album in one time.

I also bought the Accardo Paganini Diabolus you recommended some few months ago. It just arrived today.

Tang :)

You also have the Brahms trio. It was in the box that arrived when I was there with the Anne Chaplin. I can't both listen AND remember for you Tang

Dear Tang,

I have been collating piano pieces for you.Images to follow.

Kind regards,G.

Whatever you're sending him G you must include an LP of the romantics that has Moravec's moonlight sonata, his playing is so wonderfully delicate on this. Not that his Chopin and Brahms are any less :)...
