Playing stored files with no internet connection is something XDMS can do as well
A new problem. Turned on my system and TAS won't stream Tidal. It does stream Qobuz and local files play fine. Switched to Roon and it streams Tidal, Qobuz and plays local files. I rebooted everything but still no Tidal on TAS. Checked my Tidal sub and I'm current and signed in. Any ideas? That's great. I'll take that version of xdms now if stored playback is stable, and you can defer all the complexities of internet streaming until later.
Similar problem, right out of the blue. No changes to system, LAN or TAS settings -- not only won't TAS stream Tidal, but the Tidal app icon disappeared from TAS and now, when I click on the Apps icon, the whole Apps icon disappears until I go back to the Home screen. I also am still logged into Tidal.A new problem. Turned on my system and TAS won't stream Tidal. It does stream Qobuz and local files play fine. PS: When I go to Apps, thinking I might have to pin the Tidal app to the Home screen, the Tidal icon isn't there.Similar problem, right out of the blue. Strange.

Ken, did you read my reply? There is some problem with squeezebox.com Nothing anyone can do. Probably will work tomorrow.Same behavior with the Tidal icon here.
It's not an issue Taiko can fix. It's a squeezebox server issue, but whatever. Probably someone on vacation and needs to reboot the server.I did Bob and I'm not going to worry about it tonight. Just posted my symptoms in case it might help with the fix.
Hi Steve, Have you tried playing Tidal through TAS tonight? I doubt if it works as I've now said three times, the Logitech Squeezebox has a server issue going on. I doubt if you can play Tidal via TAS. Why don't you try it?Make sure Tidal is signed into Roon. Then open TAS app and switch to TAS. Worked for me when I had the same issue
Selecting DSD512 would be best. One question specific to my DAC... as I went through the Taiko Extreme Roon Settings PDF:
Max Sample Rate within Roon is "Up to DSD512" The T+A SDV max sample rate is DSD1024.
I have selected "Error" for this setting.
Is this correct? Or would it be best to select DSD512?
Thanks.
Logitech Media Server is undergoing a major backend overhaulHi Steve, Have you tried playing Tidal through TAS tonight? I doubt if it works as I've now said three times, the Logitech Squeezebox has a server issue going on. I doubt if you can play Tidal via TAS. Why don't you try it?
I've tried explaining that no matter what you do with Roon/TAS Tidal is not going to work until the mySqueezebox.com server is re-booted at Logitech or whatever they have to do to get Tidal running via TAS.
Over and out from me, if you all, want to keep trying to fix something that can't be fixed via Roon/TAS, enjoy. Good night
Hi Ed, once Logitech is operational will we have to go in to my squeezebox.com and redo our Tidal login stuff or will Tidal come back into TAS automatically?Logitech Media Server is undergoing a major backend overhaul

So patience
XDMS uses a fee for service Streaming integrator with a deep support team behind it. QoS is at a different level
